Some of the sign poles in villages are so festooned with different
signs that you'll often see one or more in conflict with one another.
Anyone who reads "Warner" comics will get a kick out of his frequent
confusion at being presented with conflicting instructions (then he
simply rides over the signpost, being a tough German motorcycle kinda
guy :-).
