Hi folks, Has anyone here got jboss3 working with the native jdk-1.3.1 patchset 8 under 5.0-CURRENT? On my box, jboss3 dies with SIGBUS, jetty dies with SIGABRT. I'm not using the HotSpot or NativeThreads patches. The only thing that's special about my JRE is that I built the port with NATIVE_BOOTSTRAP=true, because I already had native jdk-1.3.1 patchset 7 installed. What I'm really hoping to hear is "Java on 5.0-CURRENT sucks, stick to RELENG_4 and you'll have a production-quality Java environment". What I'm really worried I'll hear is that I have to commit to managing Linux systems unless, by some miracle, the boss is willing to buy Suns. Ciao, Sheldon.
