Or what? In-Reply-To: <19970316144432.56169@ct.picker.com> Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Hey all; After many nights of fighting X is finally working fine on my system. But now another problem, the third button. I have a logitech mouse and the setting I am using is the mouseman setting. It works fine and all three buttons seem to be functioning correctly. I use FVWM, and I am having a problem with getting the winlist and the pager working properly. When I try to use the third button to bring up the Winlist it gives the following error: X error of failed request: BadWindow (ivalid window parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 38 (X_QuaryPointer) Resource id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 8 Current serial number in output stream: 8 Does anyone know what this is? I am thinking something is wrong with my mouses setting since it says (quarypointer). I am using 2.1.7 and the latest XFree86 And the pager comes up, but it does nothing, I cannot click on it or anything. Now to think of it, so does goodthings it comes up but I cannot select anything of it? SO where to go from here? Thanks all. Intuitive Design Archive http://www.in-design.com archive@in-design.com
