ARM=C2=AE. Was arm64 above a typo?

Suitable for Intel=C2=AE i7.

----

At <https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.2R/>; there is not yet the official
announcement. In the meantime, to avoid some uncertainty, you may:=20

1. remove the contents of /usr/src/ but not the directory itself

2. be prepared to run the command below, which will add=20
   /usr/src/sys/

pkg add
https://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:14:amd64/base_release_2/FreeBSD-src-sys-14.=
2.pkg

Please aim to retest with 14.2-RELEASE.=20

In your case, after ensuring that both the running kernel and the installed
userland are at 14.2-RELEASE, I suggest a restart of the operating system a=
nd
then a forced upgrade of all packaged ports (including drm-kmod). Hint:=20

freebsd-version -kru ; uname -aKU

If the upgrade will deinstall any package: keep a note, so that the package=
 may
be installed at a later date.=20

Before retesting DRM, you should please:=20

1. build and install the appropriate kernel module using=20
   quarterly or latest source code for graphics/drm-61-kmod

2. restart the operating system.

A hint, to tell whether you use the quarterly repo or the latest repo, for
packaged ports:=20

pkg -vv | grep -B 1 -e url -e priority
