(Look at www.freebsd.org and www.freebsd.org/ports for the description of our project.) Anyway, we recently came across your software, called Big Brother, which includes this in the README: === License Agreement ================= Big Brother is non-commercial software. That means it can't be sold or included in any commercial product without written permission from Sean MacGuire. === The FreeBSD CDROM is not really a "commercial product" in a sense that it does not restrict redistribution in any form. In fact, the exact same files on the CDROM is available from the ftp sites (ftp.freebsd.org and mirrors). So, can I have your permission to include bb-src.tgz and compiled binary in our CDROM? :) Satoshi Asami FreeBSD Ports Manager asami@freebsd.org
