I ran whirlgif on 3 giffiles, and netscape 4.02 (freebsd), netscape gold 3.0 (win nt) and netscape 4.01 (win nt) all die horribly and immediately after displaying the first image (presumably they don't like the scene change). Internet Explorer 3.0 did work, however.
