I forget what the max length is for Ultra - I seem to remember
only 1 meter.  YouYou are not suppose to place connectors too close
to each other (> 6" ?), and you should try to keep the connectors
evenly spaced.  You normally don't have this problem when you
buy pre-made cables, but you can order them to your own specs
also (see www.scsi-cables.com and www.scsipro.com).
