Liftoff occurred at 1:16 p.m. EST, or 18:16 UTC, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. Dragon is filled with more than 5,600 pounds of supplies and payloads, including critical materials to directly support more than 250 science and research investigations that will occur onboard the orbiting laboratory. Dragon separated from Falcon 9s second stage about 10 minutes after liftoff and was captured by the space station on Saturday, December 8. http://var.fpw-w.com/lab-exploration.html
