Bruce, I just went ahead and built 3.3.2r3 directly and it seems to be working great. Regarding updating the ports collection - I plan on experimenting with the system until I've gotten some of my worst sysadmin mistakes out of the way and then re-install the latest stable release. thanks for your quick responses, Brian At 11:25 AM 3/18/99 -0800, Bruce A.
