Hi, We've recently been using a Digiboard PC/8 (completely dum 8 port board with 16450 and 16550 mixed), under FreeBSD 2.2.1 It seems to be functioning fine, we're using it to dail out with pppd and most of the time it does its job. Unfortunaetly at times we get very wierd behaviour, where the pppd process hangs up and cannot be killed without a SIGKILL sent to it (wont respond to SIGTERM and do it cleanly). We've also had it bomb out on us totaly at times, where nothing but a reboot fixes it. In bomb out, I mean all the ports just die. The kernel has'nt been griping about anything except a few overflows not many, just a few every week. Here's a sample: Jul 29 03:26:30 java /kernel: sio10: 10 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 2028) Has anyone out there experienced similar problems using a digiboard? I'm just wondering if the driver is known to be buggy, or I should start looking somewhere else for the problem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thamer Al-Herbish tmh@kuwait.net UNIX Programmer Gulfnet Kuwait Floor 11, Al-Gas Tower.
