I've just installed a fresh 5.0-RELEASE, and i found a rather odd surprise: the NOTES files (both!!!) vanished!!!! Instead of NOTES i found the old LINT in /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/, and nothing in /usr/src/sys/conf/.
