Last night it crashed, and when I looked at the console, it was in the Raid BIOS, with a message about a drive that had previously been bad, now being good.. Are their any tools that I can use in FreeBSD to determine the health oif the individual dirives in this aray? Both for determining what may curently be bad, and for adding warnings when one of the 2 drives fails? If it helps. I'm getting messages liek this in /varr/log/messages: Sep 1 20:54:25 freebsd /kernel: ida0: soft error -- "They that would give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin
