I have also used other products that would burn an iso-image. Prassi's PrimoCD will also burn iso's. Veritas purchased Prassi's software. It will even accept an extension .iso for a name. Prassi's CDburner engine is the basis for a number of other cd-r burners. Nec's software needs a name like ngi and if you rename the iso to ngi and it is happy. I did that and installed a system without any problems. I hadn't burned an iso with PrimoCD and just did one as a test. When it pulled the cd back in, it wanted to upgrade my system. So, that option works. I used EZ Cd Creator at 3.5c just fine. IIRC 3.5b + a good W2K compliant dll from Adaptec would work just fine on W2K and was available from something like beta2 on. The problem was most people were blindly installing the software and not upgrading it before they rebooted. Rebooting was terminal to your W2K system.
