use:

 mv * /newpath
 will move all files in working directory to /newpath (wherever)

 cp * /newpath
 will copy all files in working dir to /newpath

 check out the man pages for details, but that should work.

 the wildcard * will replace zero or more characters.
 using ? will replace one character.

 always be careful using wildcards.
