Hello. I have tried to avoid writing again but I would like to keep at least some of my hair. I have already posted a question about the Netscape on the comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc newsgroup. The problem with that is that whether or not I am online with my ISP, I can't make netscape. It is looking for the file "communicator-v403b8-export.x86-unknown-freebsd.tar.gz" and it can not be found. I can ping both FreeBSD.org and Netscape.com and their ftp sites. The problem with the background is that it does not look right. When I use the xaquarium, the fish look like modern art squares. The squares move but they do not look anything like fish. Also, when I try to use the xearth like in Greg Lehey's "The Complete FreeBSD", the bacground comes up kind of a pink color with absolutely no pattern in it whatsoever. The xsnow background looks like it is working correctly but it is not the proper season for that :) Also, being steeped in the tradition of Windoze, I am not used to the available screen being larger than my monitor. I can have windows open that are not visible on my screen. If I move my mouse, the screens move into my field of view. Is this normal? Thanx in advance for your great help.
