X-Url: http://www.cdrom.com/titles/freebsd.html Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Sender: owner-questions@FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Hi there, I am extremely interested in running FreeBSD on my computer, but I must make sure that I purchase a CD-ROM drive which will be compatible. I wish to run with the Adaptec 1505 SCSI-II CD-ROM adaptor (16-bit ISA) and wish to hook this up to a Sony 76S SCSI-II drive. I have read the release notes online and saw that a whole host of Adaptec SCSI products are supported, but the 1505 adaptor was not listed specifically. Any information on this adaptor would be greatly appreciated.
