to tech people: I got freebsd 2.2.1 and it has 2 cd's and says some reference to using the second cd as a ports to the installation or something like that. How do I use the second cd and is it possible to set up testing the programs on the 2nd CD using the initial setup without porting them like running off the second cd after installing the first. Also fvwm95 has no menu when you push start. Where is the references for setting up all the other programs. If I install them using /stand/sysinstall ... does it install everything or do I have to compile it. I'm used to Linux. This is first time I used this one. it has some Linux type install file ... Does that mean I can use linux files too and rpm's too and how do I get the docs for everything in html using a better browser like arena or netscape. Where are the doc files located. I have netscape for Linux downloaded in a linux directory, how do I access it. can I access linux directories. Jim
