There's only one ports collection, and it currently only supports 4.5-STABLE and 5.0-CURRENT. You can try using it on 3.0, but most things probably won't work. Alternatively you can check out an older copy of the collection, but you'll be getting older versions of all the ports, including security vulnerabilities, etc. To get the ports collection read the documentation on cvsup on the website.
