That's not really an issue with the patch. Thierry, the patch appears to work. You have commit privileges in the ports tree. Does your proposed patch pass FreeBSD's ports CI requirements (whatever tho= se may be) when you apply it? If so, what are the next steps required for you to commit the patch? I am = not familiar with the process (neither technology nor policy). The existing issue seems to be adequately complicated already. I would sug= gest updating to 3.9.0 with the existing patch, then doing an update to 3.9.1 in= the future when the dust settles.
