I have several FreeBSD systems that I am trying to connect up to a Share-UPS connected to a APC 3000. I am using the following cable: 940-0023A. I am using FBSD 34 -stable running on some compaq machines. I have tried the NUT software as well as some others both in the ports tree and out. No luck so far. If anyone has any suggestions on how I could get my BSD systems to recognize and simply shutdown on power failure that would be great. I cannot be the only person using a Share-UPS with the grey "dumb" cable and running FreeBSD. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks Chris --- Christopher T.
