Well, no, it wasn't explained.   The commit messages notes
that one needs to install print/texinfo to read info pages.
The commit message does not explain how to read the now removed
usr/share/info/{as,ld,gdb,...}.info that correspond to specific
versions of utilities shipped by FreeBSD.
