There's two bugs here.
First bug is that USB drive goes away.
Second bug is the well know crash after a drive goes away if there's dirty
buffers associated with it, which is independent of USB. We see *THAT* bug
today with the latest FreeBSD with SATA, SAS and NVMe drives.
