One thing I am not clear on, when aliasing virtual interfaces for web hosting purposes, should one choose lo0 or a real interface like fxp0 ? I searched through the archives and lots of people mention or give examples of aliasing the loopback interface, but I havent seen any explantions as to why. Are there any pointers explaining this ? Thanks, ---Mike ********************************************************************** Mike Tancsa, Network Admin * mike@sentex.net Sentex Communications Corp, * http://www.sentex.net/mike Cambridge, Ontario * 01.519.651.3400 Canada * To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
