I'm working on the meta port now. In order to use the GNOME 2.0 desktop, you will need to first uninstall all of the GNOME 1.x desktop. This includes packages like gnomecore, gnomeapplets, gnomegames, gnomeutils, nautilus, gnomemedia, gnomecontrolcenter, bugbuddy, sawfish, gtop, libgtop, xalf, gdm, and glade.
