in the meantime I've installed on the remaining diskspace (5GB for
FreeBSD and 4GB for Linux) Linux, which dedected the ATAPI CD as
secondary master without problems. I'll change some hardware settings
now, CD will become secondary slave and primary slave. Perhaps this will
help.
