FreeBSD absinthe.condo.chico.ca.us 4.6.1-RELEASE-p10 FreeBSD 4.6.1-RELEASE-p10 #18: Tue Aug 6 09:41:40 PDT 2002 fred@absinthe.condo.chico.ca.us:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ABSINTHE i386
>Description:
The messages displayed after installing sendmail[-sasl] say to do a 'make mailer.conf', but there is no such target in /etc/mail/Makefile
>How-To-Repeat:
Build and install a sendmail port.
>Fix:
Possibly add variables to make.conf and add a mailer.conf target to the makefile, or maybe the port should be overwriting it. Perhaps the best solution would be for the port to move the whole thing over to /usr/local/etc/mail.
