Here is one I'm experimenting with, based on the BSD copyright, for SGML documentation of my own. I've sent it to -core for deliberation on whether it (or something like it) should be applied to the Handbook and other documents. The *first* thing I will do if -core thinks this is a good idea is contact the people who have contributed to the Handbook, and get their agreement. I am most emphatically *not* talking about imposing a copyright notice that the authors disagree with.
