Actually there have been several changes since your PR (9/96). You might want to take a look at http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/usr.bin/telnet. If you are unwilling to upgrade and test that's fine, however if that's the case we should probably close it since you don't include any details of what you were doing when the bug happened. Obviously we would prefer that you do the test since correcting the actual problem is important. In any case, thanks for the response.
