I'm using it on 2.2.1 but unfortunately most of my perl coding involves
sockets and they just coredump :( Seems the socket handling of the perl2c
isn't very stable. Mind you, didn't have any problems installing it..

perl ./Makefile.pl
make
make install

What errors (if any) are you getting?
