I'm working on the print stuff, and will take a look at what needs to be done next. Take a look at the dependency diagram at http://developer.gnome.org/dotplan/notes/depends.png. I haven't looked at libgnome yet. I don't know what it's checking for exactly. You have have to add: CPPFLAGS+=3D -I/usr/local/include LDFLAGS+=3D -L/usr/local/lib To get popt to be picked up.
