All went well while compiling "i4b-00.71.00-beta-010399" on my FreeBSD-3.1- STABLE box. After rebooting the following messages appear: isic0: <AVM Fritz!Card PCI ISDN adapter> rev 0x02 int a irq 11 on pci0.11.0 .... i4b: ISDN call control device attached i4bisppp: 4 ISDN SyncPPP device(s) attached i4bctl: ISDN system control port attached i4bipr: 4 IP over raw HDLC ISDN device(s) attached (VJ header compression) i4btel: 2 ISDN telephony interface device(s) attached i4brbch: 4 raw B channel access device(s) attached i4btrc: 4 ISDN trace device(s) attached But when I want to start the isdnd by hand, the following error occurs root:~# /usr/sbin/isdnd root:~# Apr 13 21:55:43 diavolo isdnd[74373]: ERR init_controller: no ISDN \ controller found! Apr 13 21:55:43 diavolo isdnd[74373]: ERR init_controller: no ISDN \ controller found! Apr 13 21:55:43 diavolo isdnd[74373]: DMN daemon terminating, exitval = 1 I'm sure that the ISDN-Fritz-PCI-Card is sticking inside the motherboard (exept that the cabling to the NTBA-adapter is not done yet). Someone told me that a patch to the FreeBSD 3.1-Kernel is required to run i4b-00.71. Where can I find it and how is the patch done?
