I guess these are the sorts of questions I am trying to find answers to... I am not quite sure the implications of this in a ethernet switched environment. If there are no arp entries, does this not help along the switch ? i.e. less MAC addresses to keep in memory the better, or does it matter with only 400 or so aliases on a few machines ? ---Mike ********************************************************************** Mike Tancsa, Network Admin * mike@sentex.net Sentex Communications Corp, * http://www.sentex.net/mike Cambridge, Ontario * 01.519.651.3400 Canada * To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
