Thanks for responding... I guess these are the sorts of questions I am
trying to find answers to...  I am not quite sure the implications of this
in a ethernet switched environment. If there are no arp entries, does this
not help along the switch ?  i.e. less MAC addresses to keep in memory the
better, or does it matter with only 400 or so aliases on a few machines ?
