Hi there.
I'm trying to install freebsd 4.0-release on a HD with
bad sectors. Unfortunatly installation fails with a write
fail. As the HD is a old 230Mb ide I figured out I could
make use of bad144. But I found no way of setting the
right flag in the installation screen.
I already searched the doc/faq/email with no luck.
Any hints?
Please send replies to my mailbox as well, as I'm not on
the list.
Best regards
