I compiled qpopper and ran it. When I run it from inet.conf, it won't run. I can't telnet servername 110. Which usually will connect if it's running. Knowing this I started it manyally /usr/local/libexec/popper popper still nothing, but I do get an error in the /var/log/messages log file Sep 3 21:51:23 jeeves /usr/local/libexec/popper[2897]: Unable to obtain socket and address of client, err = 38 I went to /usr/ports/mail/popper and ran deinstall and reinstall... Still nothing. I even downloaded the binary and installed it, but still nothing.... can anyone help? thanx in advance...
