Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hello- I have just installed FreeBSD v3.2 on my computer, and then ported in wdm and tried to install that. when i start up wdm, the login screen pops up, then clicks off, then on, then off again and again until i hit ctl+alt+dlt to get back to the regular prompt. however, xdm works fine, but only with one user name. it will not start with any other users or even with root! checking /var/log/xdm-errors.log yields Fatal server error: Caught Signal 11. Server aborting. does anyone have any ideas as to what this means and how i can fix it? thanks- julie *****julie schlembach***** rice university 2002 schlem@rice.edu To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
