It looks like portupgrading p5-IO-Socket on FreeBSD 4.x breaks things unless the user manually replaces perl 5.005 with a more recent version of perl. I have a client who tripped across this while portupgrading MRTG. Anyone who can confirm or deny this? I haven't had time to investigate it carefully, but if it's a problem, shouldn't the port require perl 5.6 or 5.8?
