The person in this role works with project managers and group managers to support project requirements and may perform application or middleware level testing; switches testing; or component level of the tape or storage testing. Required knowledge, skills and education include a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; BSCS/CE; experience in low-level OS primitives (networking, I/O, memory, drivers, etc.); testing using Linux/Solaris; knowledge of system hardware architectures; QA methodologies; shell scripting; excellent verbal communication and writing skills; good understanding and experience with test automation concepts; project management; and system test. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in system level or integration testing on x86 platforms running Linux and/or Solaris Operating System. Local candidates preferred.
