I've posted to several of the FreeBSD mailing lists about this issue with no responses. Please guys, this is really causing problems in our network. I can't tell if this is a kernel problem, a firewall problem, or a NIC problem. If someone can give me an idea of where I need to look to solve this it would be much appreciated. I'm running a VPN gateway and firewall with IPFW handling the filtering, OpenVPN handling the VPN, and IPNAT handling NAT for the subnet behind the public IP's. I've tried this with IPFW and with IPFilter. Same result. The machine has 5 public IP's (aliased to one interface), and 4 subnets behind it. I've tried several different machines, all with different configurations, and I'm getting the same result: core dump followed by reboot. If anyone has any idea, I'd appreciate some insight.
