Hello. My father is using a Miro DC 10 + under Windows for capturing and editing his videos, but he has several problems using this OS (sometimes a black screen... - I think this problem is there because of the poor multiprocessing of Windows! or a 2GB filesize border) so I thought about the possibility, if I could install him a FreeBSD System. (I know that there is something like video4linux for linux, but I´m a FBSD user!) I read something in the Kernel-config file about a Matrox-Meteor Card and know I would like to know if there are any possibilities to capture/edit videos on FreeBSD. Could someone point me to software/driver/requirements etc. (anything usefull) where I could read something about it? (I know, that I would maybe need a device-driver for this card... [maybe, that's something for me to do to contribute...if I ever finish it...]) Thanks in advance for any help, answer, url etc. Regards. -- Joachim.Jaeckel@d.kamp.net -- http://home.kamp.net/home/joachim.jaeckel To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
