Hi, sorry for the maybe stupid question, but I get crazy..... I switched from i4b-0.7 and 2.2.8-STABLE to 3.1-STABLE and use (now) the, let´s call it 'internal' i4b of 3.1-S. I use the same rc.isdn as before, the same /etc/isdn/isdnd.rc and so on.... all the same. The card (Teles 16.3) is found, isdnd is up and running (and dialing) all´s fine but....: root# ifconfig isp0 link1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.1 debug ifconfig: ioctl(SIOCAIFADDR): file exists what´s that? i.e. what does it say? (BTW: the isp0 is configured correct after that) worse than that....: root# spppcontrol isp0 myauthproto=pap myauthname=...... spppcontrol: SIOCGIFGENERIC(SPPPIOGDEFS): invalid argument what is that!!!??? and what does it mean??? I have the 'pseudo-device sppp 4' in my kernel-config and the necessary i4b-lines also...all other parts of i4b seem to work, so i'm not able to see the hint to my fault.... Or did "they" (who ever it is) break Hellmuths rock-solid code?
