Having lived near Denver, and now living in Virginia I have one thing to note here - Denver is NOT east. It isn't that much difference from flying to Denver as compared to LA (and with DIA's airport fees sometimes higher). The whole point in having a BSDCon East IS so it's in the East to allow those who can't travel 2000+ miles to get to a BSD con.
