Although I've just got it, it's already become my primary PC for home and work. Pretty much a production machine for my uses. Just as a side thought, but have you tried setting the PCI settings in the bios on over to Auto? Also, are you up to date on your bios config? These were very early steps for me, so I couldn't tell you if they would have any effect on the problem you're seeing. BTW, I have the link on IBM's site now for the updates. Seems to be a real snappy server during the day. http://www.pc.ibm.com/qtechinfo/MIGR-4JSQHB.html?lang=en_US&page=brand&brand=IBM+ThinkPad&doctype=Downloadable+files&subtype=Cat#BIOS > > pciconf -l -v > > none0@pci1:0:0: class=0x030000 card=0x01fc1014 chip=0x8c2e5333 rev=0x05 > hdr=0x00 > vendor = 'S3 Incorporated' > device = '86C583 SuperSavage/IXC SDR' > class = display > subclass = VGA > Later on, -- "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.
