I can only have a single copy at any one time which means that you have to copy packages around and hand-edit distinfo files to get it in the shape you want it. On top of that, you don't deal with the case when they *are* in fact different. The approach that should have been taken is the one where each architecture has its own rpm subdirectory under disfiles. The number of noarch packages is small. As is the size of possible duplication.
