Is there a way to program a SMC Ultra (16 bit ethernet card) under FreeBSD (EZ setup) without having to boot DOS and run that d*** utility which is never at hand anyway. Someone in the NetBSD camp wrote such an utility, I believe (cgd?) I'm not sure but it seems that my card got programmed for AUI rather than thin wire (though I could swear I hadn't programmed it myself this way. --Chris Christoph P. U.
