I have just purchased the FreeBSD CD (the new version 2.0) from walnut creek
and I have a couple of questions on the installation. I am new to FreeBSD so
these will probably be trivial questions for you.

1. I installed the X library (XFree86) but it wont start because it can't
find the mouse driver. I used the default /dev/mouse. I am using a
Microsoft commmpatable mouse on COM1. I assume that I have to create this
device but I don't know how.

2. I have an SMC Ethernet card. How do I install it? I have no other
devices in my machine. I tried sticjing it in and on boot-up it gave me a
few address conflict messages.

3. Does FreeBSD support streams as in SVR4.2?

Thanks for your assistance and for a great UNIX system!!
