I found in sample syslog.conf next line: # uncomment this to log all writes to /dev/console to /var/log/console #console.info /var/log/console One time, when I have uncommented these lines, it goes to work, but on another box it refused :-( Why it can happend? /var/log/console exist, described in syslog.conf as shown... -- With Best Regards.
