I have sort of "made it through" the installation process, but when I'm doing some of the configurations they won't work. For instance, when it asks if you to add users or groups, it won't let me add any. Then when it says it wants me to select a password for "root", it just gives me that message, and when I hit enter, it just goes on to the next thing without giving me a chance to put in a password. When all is said and done, it says it is installed, but when I reboot, Windows 95 boots just as it always did. I have also tried booting form the floppy with the second IDE drive option, and that didn't work. For your information, hopefully this will help, I am installing onto a second IDE drive that is completely clean from a the Windows 95 filesystem on my first IDE drive. I have the bin and manpages directories. As I have understood, these are all I need for a basic install. Your help is much appreciated.
