This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------020400080908060206060605 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-2; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi, we have installed new system, with new gnome in our firm. We are useing cygwin to connect to our FreeBSD terminal sever, thus far is everything OK. But if I just only open Logout menu, the /usr/X11R6/bin/gdm-binary takes almost 100% of CPU load, it makes no difference, if I then really logout, or cancel this choice and stay in gnome. This mistake stay until I kill gdm-binary. It doesn't happen, if I kill session by Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. The only thing I found in /var/log/messages is: Apr 1 10:14:49 cmis gdm[51047]: (child 48101) gdm_slave_alrm_handler: 192.168.1.132:0 got ARLM signal, to ping display Apr 1 10:15:19 cmis last message repeated 2 times Apr 1 10:17:19 cmis last message repeated 8 times Apr 1 10:20:49 cmis last message repeated 14 times # I have opend logout window, and CPU load jump to 100% Apr 1 10:20:51 cmis gdm[51047]: gdm_socket_handler: Accepting new connection fd 9 Apr 1 10:20:51 cmis gdm[51047]: Handling user message: 'VERSION' Apr 1 10:20:58 cmis gdm[51047]: gdm_socket_handler: Accepting new connection fd 10 Apr 1 10:20:58 cmis gdm[51047]: Handling user message: 'VERSION' # I have canceld logout window Apr 1 10:21:04 cmis gdm[51047]: (child 48101) gdm_slave_alrm_handler: 192.168.1.132:0 got ARLM signal, to ping display # Ctrl+Atl+Backspace Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: slave_waitpid: done_waiting Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: Session: start_time: 1112339680 end_time: 1112343673 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: Sending SESSPID == 0 for slave 48101 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: Sending SESSPID 48101 0 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: (child 48101) gdm_slave_child_handler Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: (child 48101) gdm_slave_child_handler: 48140 died Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: (child 48101) gdm_slave_child_handler: 48140 returned 1 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: Handling message: 'SESSPID 48101 0' Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: Got SESSPID == 0 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: gdm_slave_session_stop: tester on 192.168.1.132:0 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting 192.168.1.132:0 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: term_quit: Final cleanup Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: gdm_slave_quick_exit: Will kill everything from the display Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: Running gdm_verify_cleanup and pamh != NULL Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: Running pam_close_session Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: Running pam_setcred with PAM_DELETE_CRED Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[48101]: gdm_slave_quick_exit: Killed everything from the display Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: mainloop_sig_callback: Got signal 20 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: gdm_cleanup_children: child 48101 returned 2 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: gdm_child_action: In remanage Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: gdm_display_unmanage: Stopping 192.168.1.132:0 (slave pid: 0) Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: gdm_display_dispose: Disposing 192.168.1.132:0 Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: gdm_display_unmanage: Display stopped Apr 1 10:21:13 cmis gdm[51047]: (child 48101) gdm_slave_usr2_handler: 192.168.1.132:0 got USR2 signal Apr 1 10:21:39 cmis su: tester to root on /dev/ttyp0 Apr 1 10:21:54 cmis gdm[51047]: mainloop_sig_callback: Got signal 15 Apr 1 10:21:54 cmis gdm[51047]: mainloop_sig_callback: Got TERM/INT.
