I wrote a few perl scripts which moves the mailbox when it gets too big,
strips a lot of header information[1] and gzips them.

If anyone's interested, the scripts are at

remarks about my perl skills [or lack thereof] please :-) Useful feedback
would be appreciated though.

They don't use any file locking at the moment, which could cause a
problem, but they suffice for my personal use (which is all I wrote them
for).
