Well, it shouldn't. If you got the daemon's response and didn't send the original message, then something is broken somewhere. Get me a complete copy of the daemon's message for diagnostics. As to ignoring mail to lists, I'm not sure that's the best idea. After all, the original author wanted the mail to go to everyone on the list, and that didn't happen.
